Artur,

I agree in principle with all you say.  Sure enough, if this ever happened then maybe 
things will revive.  But I have my doubts.  They are based on the following logic 
(maybe faulty):  Pentax started out with slr's when the market was new.  When the 
going got crowded they backed down.  Nikon and Canon took over.  I simply cannot ever 
see Pentax taking over from Nikon/Canon, simply because those companies have 
demonstrated over and again an involvement with the end user which is foreign to 
Pentax all over the world excepting in Norway.  I have been a Pentax user since the 
60's but I can tell you that Nikon is just as good if not better in some areas.  There 
are many Nikon/Canon users out there who would have to give up all their investment to 
go the Pentax route.  And why should any newcomers go the Pentax route exactly?  How 
will they know how good Pentax is?  What about after sales service?
