"Pro" to a couple of posters herein means that anyone who is not as
good as they think THEY are is a [shudder!] "amateur", hence their
cameras [regardless of name] couldn't possibly measure up to the pro's
cameras [regardless of name,] and so on...

Sort of similar to those who have managed to get a Phd at some school
of higher learning, and while they don't use it for anything at all,
aren't medical [or other] 'doctors,' nevertheless sign their names
with Phd at the end. In every endeavor! It confers bragging rights.

Exactly so. It will take some time for some folks to recognize that,
but will they ever admit it?
