"Pro" to a couple of posters herein means that anyone who is not as good as they think THEY are is a [shudder!] "amateur", hence their cameras [regardless of name] couldn't possibly measure up to the pro's cameras [regardless of name,] and so on... Sort of similar to those who have managed to get a Phd at some school of higher learning, and while they don't use it for anything at all, aren't medical [or other] 'doctors,' nevertheless sign their names with Phd at the end. In every endeavor! It confers bragging rights. > The type of equipment desirable to wedding > photographers is usually very different from what pro landscape > photographers use, and what studio photographers use, etc. etc. You can > talk about "pro" equipment as it relates to these fields individually, but > it's not very useful as a *general* term. Exactly so. It will take some time for some folks to recognize that, but will they ever admit it? keith whaley > > > Debatable.
