I think the possibilities are very slim. With the short lifespan of digital products 
and the added complexity, size, and cost of such a design, the camera would not make 
that much sense.

I believe a digital solution in form of a back or an insert will be more likely for 
the Pentax 645 system. They have in fact patented such a back. The reason is that 
digital and film solution in the same body fit more into the typical settings for many 
MF applications and is easier to build due to the cameras design.

The major flaw in this argument is that there are likely very few who want to shoot 
both film AND digital; particularly with the same body. Most who switch to digital 
will do it in order to get away from film.
