When I worked from home doing PCB's I went thru a wireless mouse search for almost 1 year. I tried a wireless MS mouse. Did not like. Why? It goes into powerdown mode too fast. So you select a part to move, move it over, then stop for about a second prior to clicking to let go the part. Guess what? It didn't place because the mouse went to sleep & need that first activity to wake up. Do all over again. Out it went. Also the scroll wheel was too hard to click. Almost like a light switch. Imagine cadding all day long like that? No thanks. I sware they used the old light switches from the 60's !!!
Then & finally I bought the prize. Logitech wireless mouse MX700. Still use it. Love it. Recharges nicely in its cradle, even with mediocre rechargeables, it still goes almost 2 weeks between charges. Works very well with CAD, high resolution. Highly recommend. Good feel as it cups in the hand nicely. Also, the wheel click is much lighter than the MS "junk" mouse above. I bought it separately but you can buy it with the matching Logitech wireless keyboard for about $70 CDN. Go for it.
