Laurie,
Okay, here is a new suggestion. Does your template have any complex
graphics in it that contain arcs (i.e. in a logo)? I am thinking that possibly
one of the arcs may have a center origin that resides somewhere in a negative
quadrant while the actual arc segment is fully within the viewable quadrant.

This can easily occur with complex graphic logos and imported ACAD
files because in Protel/Altium they are treated just as simple arcs of X radius
at origin X,Y. If that origin point is out of the positive quadrant then it
could be causing your shift while no viewable portion of the actual arc line
transgresses outside of the positive quadrant.

Subject: Re: [PEDA] Something off the board

Well I have tried deleting all the other layers and now have just Mechanical
Layer 1 which has a border on it and Top Overlay which has some circles on it
just to keep something in view.

If I Print Preview (PP) with Layer 1 on the board moves up the page. If PP with
Layer 1 off the board blows out to fill the page. This also happens with my
original board.

Not sure what (or how) I can do now to find what is `on' this layer but it is
DEFINITELY nothing to do with Component Footprints, Designators (hidden or
otherwise) nor Comments (hidden or otherwise).

Anyone have any suggestions. I can post a copy of the board on my website if
anyone thinks they might be able to do something with it.

Best Regards

(Mr) Laurie Biddulph
