I used `Select All Outside' but it would not `select' those items and there was no option to `delete'. I had to zoom out a bit, `select all' and then start moving the selection. As soon as Ii did this the `selection window' went VERY large and, after zooming out a bit more, I was able to bring the bottom left corner in to view on the screen. From that point on it was a formality.
As far as I can tell Protel 2004/AD/DXP (whatever) does not seem to like objects on mechanical layers that are outside the window (or may be in negative space). All my attempts where with the board at a reasonable zoom level and I thought I would have been able to see the offending items. It was only after that big zoom out (my pcb area on my screen was less than a 1" across) that the objects became `relevant' Best Regards (Mr) Laurie Biddulph Mobile: 0400 257 645 Elby Designs ABN: 70 022 727 605 http://www.elby-designs.com This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended for the addressee only. Edit/Select/All should select every primitive in the design. Zoom level should be irrelevant. If you are using window selection, i.e., Select/Inside, yes, display window would obviously be relevant. ____________________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the PEDA discussion forum To Post messages: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe and Other Options: http://techservinc.com/mailman/listinfo/peda_techservinc.com Browse or Search Old Archives (2001-2004): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Browse or Search Current Archives (2004-Current): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] ____________________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the PEDA discussion forum To Post messages: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe and Other Options: http://techservinc.com/mailman/listinfo/peda_techservinc.com Browse or Search Old Archives (2001-2004): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Browse or Search Current Archives (2004-Current): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
