It's hyperbole used for dramatic effect. It's cocky, but hasn't Sascha earned the right to say it? PHP is not a democracy, nor should it be. Contributing ideas, documentation or code moves you up the ladder of people important to the project. Bickering or worrying aloud about how a change will ruin your world is only interesting for about five minutes. :P Not to discourage you, Marcus.
