    Unfortunately, it's been discussed many times over the years, but
never moves forward.  I've seen messages from you here and there for
years, Steve.  I'm sure you're aware of it.

    Conversely, at the same time, for the number of years during which
you've subscribed, you are not a heavy poster.  To me, that says you
filter out a large number of the messages you get from the list(s) as
well.

    Point being, if and until there is a specific OT list where those
of us involved in discussions here on a regular basis, I see no
problem with one or two off-topic threads dedicated to facilitating
that communication and keeping people interested.
