Never mind.  plplot-cvs was running late for me, but now I see you
have committed the change already.  I will give your work (hopefully
including your changes to example 27 to do a good test of the new
internal implementation for large numbers of boundary points) a try
after I have finished with the new swig-generated octave bindings.
That will probably be next week.
