While idly going through some of my old bookmarks, I ran into a webpage
entitled "RAID and Data Protection Solutions for Linux".
http://linas.org/linux/raid.html
I had bookmarked it back when I was searching for more information on
the topic because it contained a lot of relevant information about RAID
for Linux systems. I'm happy to note that it's still actively maintained
by its author, Linas Vepstas. It was last updated on August 2003.
Beyond simply being about RAID on Linux, "RAID and Data Protection
Solutions for Linux" includes other related topics including the types
of data loss systems normally get hit by, related data storage
protection technologies including journalling filesystems and backup
solutions, diagnostics and monitoring and more.
It's definitely a good stop for those who haven't bumped into it via
Google, yet.
