Good points. Just trying to think laterally as we know there is a large BBC listenership on these forums.
How about something like: Download this version of SqueezeCenter if you want native AAC+ (you will not be able to use (say) Monkey's Audio/Ogg/Musepack) and you will have to pay a lifetime licence/development fee of $10.00. or Download the standard version of SqueezeCenter. or variations of the above to cover some bases.
