Hmmm - I removed the one I had manually uploaded and found SoftSqueeze
under Other 3rd party plugins.

It seemed to install, and after a restart it also shows under Active
plugins, but I still get the "Softsqueeze download has failed
download_failed" message when I click on it under Extras in the main
menu.

If I click the Settings link from the list of active plugins I get "404
Not Found:
plugins/Extensions/settings/plugins/softsqueeze/settings/basic.html"
