Yes! That would be great. I think everyone can benefit from the
standard CB menus having a uniform display for album and track lists,
and an easy way for inexperienced users to adjust what is displayed on
which line in a track list in iPeng.

There are two things here: The album list and the file list. The album
list is depending on the sql that produces the output string. Could the
output be made consistent for all CB standard menus? For consistent
display in iPeng the order must be "Album Name - Artist/Composer -
Year", unless you introduce a way to rearrange the captures. Or perhaps
Pippin can consider displaying both the album name and year on the first
line (I would love to be able to see also the year when in the two line
album cover view).

It does not matter to me since I do not use those interfaces any more,
but I see your point.

No, currently I would not say it looks good but I hope it can be easily
fixed.

The NP info is not at all affected (each player has its own
titleformat).

The album list modification is obviously only affecting CB menus. The
strange thing is that in the sample menu the album list displays the
raw sql output, "Album Name (Artist1,Artist2,Year)". I do not know what
that menu looked like in the web UI before the modification, but now the
captures are obviously not used.

The SBS standard album menu uses "Album Name (Year) Artist" so it would
be nice and consistent if that order could be used in CB album lists in
the web UI and on players.

Changing the standard SBS titleformat affects the display in file
lists. This could be handled by choosing a nice looking separator
unlikely to occur in any tag, "-*-" "••" etc.

I noticed that the CustomScan tag I have in my standard SBS titleformat
is not showing up in file lists outside CB menus. If it is not a bug
this "feature" could perhaps be used. Add an extra CustomScan table
with a separator for all tracks and use this CustomScan "tag" in the
standard SBS titleformat. In CB menus the RegEx should filter out the
separator character. It is not that way now for my sample menu in the
web UI; the separator is showing up and the captures from the RegEx are
not used.

Thanks for considering this!
