Oh sure, there are a slew of "precedents. LOL The defense will file a
motion for new trial (within seven days in Nevada) claiming some sort of
prejudice in the jury selection process (most likely). That motion will be
denied and then the defense will file an appeal and there is a ten percent
chance the appeal will be heard. With the mandatory minimums OJ will do at
least 15 years (a life sentence for a "hard liver" like OJ) and maybe more.

Regarding the appeal - the trial itself was clean until the very end. The
prosecution called a rebuttal witness and this witness (an investigator)
blurted out information possibly prejudicial to OJ's defense (something
about possible criminal activity involving one of OJ's witnesses). The
judge did her best to "unring the bell" with the jury but the appellate
court may <doubtful> see a problem there. Other than that and of course the
alleged issues with the jury, the defense has nothing and OJ will do his
time. Justice delayed...

The only person the judge didn't wake up to savor the foregone verdict
was Judge Ito. Desperate for irony, the Marsha Clarke stand-in may as
well have been holding the retrial in Los Angeles.

The smorgasbord conviction is ripe for reversal, Nevada better have a
slew of precedents.
