The governor of Hawaii recently verified the existence of Obama's birth certificate, declared it was authentic - then went a step further by securing it in a special vault. I seriously doubt the governor would conspire in a hoax of this potential magnitude. She would certainly know that sooner rather then later, an officer of the court might want to examine the birth certificate, if for no other reason than to verify its existence. Officially it's now under her care – she can't say the cat ate it. The court may also bring in a 'questioned document examiner' to date the ink and paper, and compare original signatures. Which is pretty basic stuff, to determine if the birth certificate is bogus.
