Some mistakes ??? Those "mistakes" make 9/11 look like a church picnic and
Reagan and his policies were DIRECTLY responsible. No not some "downstream"
unforseeable side or after effect... but tens of thousands of corpses lying
in streets and jungles.

Next to his little forays into Central America EVERYTHING AQ has done so far
is not even clos to Reagans intentional devastaion in three different
American nations.

To suggest that President Reagan made some kind of serious faux pas in South
America, in particular Nicaragua, is revisionist spin. President Reagan
campaigned, and had the overwhelming majority of Americans' support in
combatting the spread of communism in the region, which was in fact, a
continuation of the Truman Doctrine!

Typical BS spin.... there were and are not any "commies" in Central America.
Not one country here has ever had its electoral process overseen, can you
say the same ??

Further, the same people holding office in the eighties have been re-elected
yet again.. Ortega is President of Nicaragua, Arias is President of Costa
Rica ...... funny but now ..... with the same elected parties and platforms
these two countries are the USA favorite retirement and investment
areas...........

Like I said........... things here haven't changed... just the BS spewing
from the US mind and mouth. How right could he have been ??

You seem to forget the melancholy that our Nation suffered after four
years of Jimma, the debacle in Iran, and the expansionist Soviet Union's
policies during the same era.

40 thousand dead Americans (indescriminate as to man woman or child) are
sorry your feelings were damaged.... I KNOW.... they made you do it.

What does what took place within your borders have to do with your populaces
ignorant fear of that which is not ?? So if things are rough elsewhere they
can aleviate their worries by sending a death sqad or two to the USA and
expect your understanding.

I should feel safer knowing that the Heroin addict is doing the Reagan crops
juice. You should feel good about all the crime and medical/jail bills you
pay for are because the US was "uncomfortable" and had NO long range plan or
sight.
