Gee Bruce there were so many unmapped landmines planted they are still actively removing them with an estimated 6000 more to go.....
These countries had NO terrorist groups (Reagan planted, funded and trained them). Yet the USA butchered tens of thousands. These countries had Democratically elected governments and peaceful sucession of power, Yet the USA planted land mines. These countries had no more of a direct tie or dealings with the USSR than the USA. Yet you blockaded their harbors and sank their ships. Compare that with moving men from Afghanistan (a necessary war) to Iraq to remove WMDs that never were, to destroy a nuclear program that wasn't, to relieve them of bio-chemical weapons that ddn't exist. Yeah silly........... and extremely STUPID.
