GLENN BECK HAS BITTEN-OFF MORE THAN HE CAN CHEW.
For the past year, since Hillary R. Clinton acquiesced to Barack
Obama’s corrupt campaign tactics so he could “win” the democratic
nomination, I’ve favored Fox News as my front-line information
source. I’ve realized for years that the USA’s failed course will be
manifested in economic ways, first, and in social and political ways,
second. An early harbinger was having the total average taxation
exceed 1/3rd of the typical family income.
Prior to the 2008 election, polls showed that 85% of Americans were
dissatisfied with the direction that this country is headed. However,
a socialist named Barack Obama, who masqueraded as a ‘centrist’,
managed to convince a majority of Americans that he, and he alone, can
instigated the “changes we need”. Because of Obama’s smooth oratory
and confident bearing, those who had been dissatisfied with our course
as a nation, put their trust in that charlatan to be the savior-of-the-
country.
Recently, as Americans are starting to reel over our out-of-touch,
over-controlling, and over-spending big government, about 46% of the
voters—mostly Democrats—still cling to the hope and belief that
government is the ultimate provider of whatever our needs may be. In
short, those voters continue to put their faith in Obama’s many
promises. Few of them have reached the threshold to begin second-
guessing their support for Obama. They are basically numb to the
revolutionary rumblings in town halls and at political rallies across
America.
Fox’s Glenn Beck, also, a conservative radio commentator, has
successfully exposed many areas of corruption and waste in
government. Almost daily, he lists, in chalk, the shortcomings of our
government which should make thinking Americans be incensed. My
interest in Beck’s revelations is primarily as a barometer to the
“should be” resentment for where our government is taking us. If only
those… 46%, who still trust Obama, would watch a few minutes of the
Beck show each week.
Beck’s more successful shows are where he has an on-stage audience of
concerned Americans. Unfortunately, his typical show is just a full
hour of him talking. Because of that, his credibility as a clear-
thinking, open-minded man is starting to slip. Several times I have
turned-down the sound on his show—as when answering the phone.
Looking at him talk, I realized that his gestures and facial
expressions are way more pronounced than is the norm. Turning on the
sound, again, I reasoned that Beck is acting out, via gestures and
expression, the reactions he supposes others will have to his latest
revelations of corruption. Many times he has these giddy, almost
drunk-seeming smiles and laughter. It’s as though he has gone… “Mad”
because of his many frustrations. One can easy imagine men in white
coats standing in the wings waiting to sedate Beck following each
show.
Very early, Glenn Beck impressed me as someone who would prefer that
this country, and our government, not be so corrupt. He regularly
urges the viewers to get involved to push for the needed changes. His
on-show support for peaceful descent played a big part in inspiring
those who attended the 9/12 Washington rally. Beck could, if he so
chooses, position himself to take a revolutionary leadership role to…
take back this country from the corrupt politicians and lobbyists.
However, his efforts are falling short.
A week or so ago, Beck gave a tour of an upper floor of Fox’s New York
office building. He went into what looked like a library/conference
room and explained that such room would be where concerned citizens,
with inside information on corruption in government, or etc., could
come to have their revelations videoed. He explained how the lights
wouldn’t be on the person’s face, and how his or her voice could be
disguised, electronically. In Beck’s mind, all that is needed to get
the 46%, or etc., to rally against the status quo, would be to have
enough believable revelations to get the people really incensed. Beck
himself reveals these type things, daily. Yet, he must be realizing…
that his message isn’t getting through. And it is driving him… “Mad”.
I realized Beck has bitten off more than he can chew when I heard him
expounding how just 56 Founding Fathers had given us our
Constitution. Beck’s ‘ultimate solution’ to our failed government is
to have 56 “new” patriots to step forward. He says one or two have
already done so. Beck pleads, almost tearfully, to have some (good at
heart) Washington politicians join his group of 56. Perhaps he
envisions that those 56 can become a ‘new’ constitutional convention.
Or perhaps he sees magic in that number 56 that will just make our
status quo government roll-over and play dead.
But I heard Beck say something else, this week, that is disturbing.
He said: “There are those who want to re write our Constitution. … I
rather like our Constitution as it is.” Fourteen years ago, I
transcribed the Constitution word-for-word into my computer to serve
as a point of departure for re writing it for the benefit of the
majority of Americans. Completing that process had a tedium which
pointed out many of the shortcomings in that document. After all,
there were no word processors available to the Founding Fathers.
It is likely that Glenn Beck was referring to ME as “those” who want
to re write our Constitution. Fourteen years ago I wanted to do so,
but not now. That’s because my New Constitution is completed, poised
and polished! There is little if any work left to be done! In a
single day, the American People can ratify my New Constitution that is
so powerful, that government(s) will immediately become subordinate to
the People. Government(s) will become our servants, never again to be
our taskmasters (as by oppressive taxation without representation,
which would be tyranny).
I’ve revealed many excerpts from my New Constitution, but gotten few
if any comments from you readers. John Q. Public must be in a frame
of mind to scrap the bad things in our government (like the senate,
and political parties) in order to end all of the tyranny that people
like Beck and Hannity point out. And end it my New Constitution
will! An excerpt, which I call the Preface, should hint a document
with both teeth and a big heart. The American People will be the
winners!

The will of the People is the foundation of government. The
People must be represented faithfully and without bias so government
can properly and efficiently perform its functions in the coming
ages. Federal government shall be limited to functions that cannot be
better performed by local and state governments. Such shall be the
enabler of freedom, justice, fair commerce, climates of opportunity,
cooperative efforts, and national security both internal and
external. Such shall be businesslike yet human; impartial yet
focused; considerate of our environment, heritage, peace and
tranquillity; effective without boastfulness; and divorced from
politics. The federal government shall not be considered to be
synonymous with the USA, and those therein are not a ruling class nor
are they dictators; rather they are the servants of the USA and shall
be answerable to it and to any law-abiding Citizen or Citizens
thereof. We honor these objectives for the benefit of ourselves and
our posterity.”
