Dear plainolamerican: Unlike you, I don't close my mind to widening my knowledge simply because of biases. In my opinion the two most hurtful vices are: dishonesty and bias. I may not agree with everything I hear or read, but at least I listen to the arguments!
Unfortunately, your "joy" in life centers on hating others. Except for the 'separated and thus suspicious culture' and the 'you-owe-me-one' chip on their shoulders (because of the Holocaust), Jews are largely likable and reasonable people. They easily coexist as long as others respect them and give them their space. I suspect that one reason more readers of this post (other than you) haven't offered comments is because they know I will defend my position. Those who agree with me let... silence be their vote. Probably, those who disagree don't have my past commitment in time spent considering the issues to bolster their positions. So, perhaps… silence is golden. — John A.
