Actually that 37th argument doesn't hold water. We do have the best quality healthcare in the world, that's why it costs so much more than other countries. You don't throw that out in favor of mediocre to bad healthcare so less than 15% who don't get it can. It's the system that sucks and government run healthcare won't fix that. You improve the system we have through the private sector.
Yes, people did bitch when Bush spent a trillion bailing out banks, and car companies and GE and Fannie and Freddie. I don't know what where you were looking, but there were plenty of Bush signs with Hitler mustaches and swastika's replacing the "s" in Bush. Of course it was ok then, because the left was doing it. Having been to two tea parties and two town halls, yes there were a few signs with Obama/ Hitler/Joker references, but that certainly wasn't the majority. In a group of 2,500 or so, I saw maybe ten signs. There were even a couple of racist signs. One that comes to mind was of Obama's face photo shopped onto a Tupac poster with "Thug in Cheif" on it. After a few minutes of dirty looks from the rest of us, he quitely skulked away with his tail between his legs. I never saw him again. It's sad really that so many Americans have given up on being self- sufficient and that they look to the government to solve all their problems. The problem is, government control is a slippery slope and before you know it, we could be like France or Russia. We used to be a shining example of Freedom and the leader of the free world because of it. I'm afraid that if the left get their way, we'll become a sad place where if your born poor, you stay poor and a slave to the government handout with the government telling us where to work, how much we can make, how to raise our kids, what to eat, what to wear, etc. That's a terrible existance and one I'm not willing to settle for or sentance my children and grand-children to.
