In the recent Texas Schoolbook controversy, the books were revised to
exclude the words "Democrat" Democracy", and replace those words with
"Republican" and "Republic".
The terms are interchangeable, but not in the small minds of some who
fail to comprehend their shades of meaning and etymological
provinance.
