[Poltergeist - The Legacy] Rachel, Kat

Kat wasn't sure she wanted to leave her mom. She gave the doctor a skeptical look and then looked back at her mother.  "Okay," she answered reluctantly.   She gave Rachel a warm hug.  "I love you," she said before sliding off the bed.  She turned to the doctor putting her hands on her hips and giving him a stern look.  "You be nice to my mommy."    Both the doctor and Rachel chuckled when Kat left, the doctor complimenting his patient "That's some girl you have there.  Does she have someone she can stay with tonight while you sleep this," he held up the syringe with a raised eyebrow "off?"   Rachel thought of how both Nick and Julia had both gone out of their way to make Kat comfortable, explained things to her and even protected her and she nodded with a quiet, sure smile -- a tired, quiet, sure, pain-filled/stiff smile.  For once she was going to enjoy being knocked out.  And she knew her daughter would be taken care of.    She'd give her some comic relief if she returned while the injection was taking effect she was sure, she thought humorously as the doctor came forward and administered it to her.   "Yes, she has someone.  In case I'm totally out of it and someone asks, she's allowed to leave with Julia and Nick.. Walker and Boyle for now but I have to start planning -" whoa, that hit quick, her mind thought as her reflexes shifted to blah blah mode.   She blinked and grinned "how much did you put in that thing..? And if I see elephants..."   The doctor chuckled at that and promised to come by later to check up on her, going to go put in the information Dr. Corrigan had just given him about releasing her daughter into their custody.     http://www.access-eworld.com/poltergeist_legacy/
