Then he straightened and ruffled Kat's hair and patted Nick on the back before peeking at the clock, calling out an old saying as he left  "Ten o'clock an' everythin's right wi' th' world."

Then so Julia heard him from whever she was, be it downstairs or already in her and Nick's room, he called out "Good night, Julia.  Welcome home!"

Julia looked up then, already in the bedroom and looking at the watch, and grinned before shaking her head humorously.  Had Derek not been medicated it probably would have woken him up.  Thankfullly that wasn't the case and she was pretty sure Derek slept right through it.  He was pretty out of it downstairs when the others had helped him to his room.

That reminded her of the camera and, tucking the watch into her pocket because she wanted to give it to Nick tonight, she left the room and skipped down the stairs and back into the living room.

She was picking up the camera and putting the strap over her shoulder when she looked up and saw the urn on the small shelf.

Even as she watched the object shimmered and was gone, a gentle white light taking it away.

Julia Walker looked up at the ceiling and symbolically at the One that had brought her home, her voice a bare whisper "Thank You."

"Remeber yer gift...."  was whispered back to her, in the voice of the old Irishman that had visited her twice.

Her lips curved up into a smile before turning back to the hallway and on.

She would and did.  Every minute she had with Nick - with the others - it was all a gift, a miracle.

Remember, treasure, and live the life she had been given a chance to live.

Taking the stairs two at a time she went back to the bedroom, the smile on her face blooming fully.
