Nick simply shook his head yes at the idea of letting Kat stay in their room
for the night.

Julia grinned and looked at Kat "That okay with you?"

She would have offered for Kat to go with them then, but she had to give her
a chance to face her fear on her own - and neither Julia nor Nick were even
changed for bed yet and she still had to change the dressing about his
ribs...and she wanted a few minutes alone with him.  She hoped Kat would
understand and wouldn't hold it against her that she was giving 'Tuffy' a
time limit.
