"Nope" Nick whispered placing a hand on her shoulder.  "I want you to
remember this the rest of our lives together."


Julia smiled and stood, cupping his face and then kissing him before putting
her forehead to his and whispering teasingly "Like either of us are going to
ever forget any of this?  How many people do you know that've been given a
pass from above to get a chance like we've been given, handsome?"

She stroked her thumbs against his jaw and then hugged him close but
carefully, still mindful of his ribs.
