"Then, you better start keeping up with them," Alex suggested about his cuff
links.

She  was slightly taken aback by his compliment.  "Thank you," she replied
with a smile, "you're not looking too shabby yourself."  It was true he was
very dashing, though she usually thought this of him, even when he went
through the sweater vest clothing crisis of the early 90's.  She settled
herself in the seat and just enjoyed his company as they drove to Rachel's.
