"Rules," Kat said wrinkling her nose. She came over and climbed into
Rachel's lap, glad she was staying, now she didn't have to worry about her
being all alone. "Like going to bed rules?" She hated those. In fact she
wasn't the least bit tired, well not at the moment anyway.

Rachel looked at Julia and Nick and had a feeling her little girl would have
help in the evading of going to bed at a certain time but smiled anyway
"More like no crawling up on tables or chairs rules and we can figure out
the bed time rule when we get changed out of our dresses and into pajamas."

"Now make your rounds and tell everyone goodnight." she winked as she stood,
gently taking out one of the flowers that were already being worked out of
Kat's hair from twirling. "We can see about putting these in a scrap book
for you."

She made her own rounds and ended with Julia and Nick, barely able to keep
from grinning knowingly "You two be good. And thank you for letting Kat be
a part of it."

Kat had reached them and Julia smiled, lowering herself in order to hug her
"No, thank you Kat for eloping with us. You're the best flowergirl anyone
could have."

"And ask for eleven o'clock first." she whispered into Kat's ear so only she
heard "You'll be able to stay up until 10 by the time the making a deal time
is done easy."

Then she straightened again and hugged Rachel "Thank you for letting us
sneak out with Kat."

Rachel hugged her back and patted Nick on the cheek before teasing "Remember
the ribs, Boyle."

With that Rachel led Kat out and up the stairs.
