"Okay," Alyssa agreed. It had been a nice comfortable bed. "No lights
please," she said. The light from the window was hurting her eyes something
fierce and it was hard not to start crying again. She rubbed them gently
then did something a little out of character with her, especially with
strangers. She held her arms out to Derek.
Alex stood, "I'll meet you in the control room." She headed out the door.
Surely he could handle puttingher to bed on his own and she thought he
should do that. She headed to the control room and sat down in front of a
computer beginning the search for medical records. While she waited, she
picked up the phone and dialed Rachel's number.
