I have a Sure GPS unit and just decided to dust it off and finally get
around to soldering the wiring patches.
So far so good. Lucky I had a magnify glass and a steady hand. :)
Please note that I do /not/ show a soldered joint with the through board
hole on the "top" edge of J2.

You may want to check that through hole isn't connected to anything....
