All very good points and well deliberated but what is the best way for
any issue? America has always been great when there was an actual goal
that the entire nation was behind. Such as defeating Italy, Germany,
and Japan in WWII, the space race during our cold war with Russia, and
other events that brought the nation together.

In some ways our nation is great because it is diverse but now this
diversity has become our folly as well. Human beings are driven to
excel and be better and that will happen everywhere, outside the US or
not but our lack of understanding of one another has driven us to
completely stall as a nation compared to other upcoming world powers.

My main plea in this response, is that you can't fix what is divided.
All the problems that are happening now are a result of our nation not
taking any stands on any issues as a whole. Our nation used to stand
for certain things and now even those fundamental beliefs are being
thwarted. We need to stand for something, whatever it is. But we are
so "opinionated" and so "different" that we don't "see" any common
ground in our major issues. I know that times change but fundamental
beliefs such as "education is for everyone," is something that will
never change no matter what the time is.

If we are always looking at our differences then there is going to be
no way for us to solve our similar problems. We must be individual
cells within a body.
