I just like it when people don't mind having it known that country (or rap, or
electronica or whatever) is one of the things they like, if it is. It's just
about making your own taste and not paying much attention to who likes it. or
if anybody thinks it isn't cool, or thinks its "derivative" or something.
That's just really set me off for some reason. I think if someone told me
they thought something was "derivative" it'd be the last thing I'd be
interested in hearing from them about music. That's about as interesting and
worthwhile a thing to say about a band's music as "it rules."
