I have heard of this problem and there have been reports of it, however I have never seen it and in the tens of 1400s I have handled just about all of them were 16MB, those that weren't I put up to 16 with no problem. I feel it is something to be aware of - like some stacked RAM cards not working together but not to see it as a reason not to try the upgrade. > I am also wondering if this ethernet card is likely to prevent using a G3 > upgrade at a later date? Focus or Newer are the Ethernet manufacturers IIRC. Best wishes Malcolm Cornelius - The Powerbook Fanatic www.pbfanatic.co.uk -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
