I'd read on the knowledge base about problems transferring Apple's Mail application so had printed out the directions for doing it "safely."

My husband got the new computer but I had the job of transferring data, which actually was on a DVD which I'd managed to store his data on before his old Titanium completely kicked the bucket.

I don't see that you would have any problems with PowerMail.

It still took me a few hours to get everything running smoothly. But it wasn't hard, just long waiting for all the software updates to download and iPhoto to convert pics to new format, that sort of thing.
