Do you use the dose and/or rate alarm warnings available with the DMC2000/DMC 3000? No. 2. If you do, why and what issues have you had? N/A 3. If you don't, why not? ? 4. Do you use the rate alarm latching feature? Yes. Latching the alarms makes them more difficult for workers to miss. Latching our rate alarms was a corrective action that has been effective for ensuring that workers hear and respond to dose rate alarms. We disable the latching feature as needed for special cases like anticipated rate alarms and multiple dosimetry packs where we only want 1 dose rate alarm to latch. 5.
