Fermi 2 would like feed back from our industry peers on the following:

1. Do you use the dose and/or rate alarm warnings available with the
DMC2000/DMC 3000?

Not currently but our management is looking into heading in that direction.
Would like to see the results of this benchmark

2. If you do, why and what issues have you had?

NA

3. If you don't, why not?

Concerns that it would get the workers into relying on the alarm as opposed to
monitoring dosimetry.

4. Do you use the rate alarm latching feature?

No. That would removes the ability to use anticipated alarms. That allows you
to set the setpoints lower so it can be closer to the work area as opposed to
the travel path to the work area or a nearby hot spot. If a worker gets an
unanticipated alarm or one that does not clear when they back away or pass
through the area they are to leave and contact RP

5. What access control software do you use and what version is it?

HIS-20 WACS version 5

6. Please provide a contact for additional information.
