Well, yes, I can't disagree with that.  I still agree with Steinar
though:

"It's how life is these days [and no] amount of whining is going to
change things, so it's better to go on and let others keep the spirit
of the project running."

However - contrary to public belief, this list actually appears to be at
least somewhat active.  So far, people on 26 unique IP-addresses have
taken a peek at my knode snapshot from earlier, and quite a few have
joined this thread. 

The main reason for my initial posting was really that I'd discovered
(after 6-7 months) that primenet v4 had quietly gone away and died. (I
have a bookmarked link for getting my personal status, and that had
stopped working).  
I was mildly upset that such a major change could have happened without
anyone telling me, and when I went to get the latest software, I got
a "library not found" problem at first - which is what prompted me to
seek help.
