Why?  The linux-kernel mailing list has yet to move to a forum, as have
hundreds of thousands of other lists - chances are they never will, due
to the inefficiency and awkwardness of the media.

Age does not always bring maturity.  Besides, my comment wrt maturity
was aimed at projects which only use fora, not the fora themselves.

Perhaps one final comment - seeing as this list is alive and well, I
submit it would be incredibly arrogant if the project were to stop
posting important announcements here. The v4 to v5 being one such
announcement that I for one missed.
