You have struck the nail upon the head with perfect orthogonality.
That's precisely the reasons I don't use 'em. Too much effort all
around. They are "pull" rather than "push", and then all the hassle
of lowering security and putting it back up. That's also one reason
why I don't use any personal network ("youtube", "facebook", etc.)
kinda stuff. They require lowering security.
