Good question Steve, but some of us - professional, and not wet behind the ears - are not remotely as knowedgeable about things digital as people like yourself, the Barstows, Shangaras et al, and would find it difficult to contribute much useful info. If and when I can, I do, but mostly I'm a lurker, asking occasional questions like my recent one about keywording, Image Info Toolkit & PS-CS (answered very helpfully by David Riecks). People like me might use digital professionally, but still find high-level discussion of its technicalities depressingly reminiscent of school physics classes several decades ago - you know, that paranoid feeling that everyone else in the room knows what's going on, but they seem to be talking in Martian about things that are impossibly incomprehensible...
