Tim

Who gets confused? If you mean you get a nice animation, you need to let go
of the F key pretty fast after double-clicking. Alternatively, use Cmd+F+O
but that means the file must be preselected in the FB.

You can use the FB > Edit > Rank feature. Not sure why there's no icon for
it. False economy?

Save F1 for most used action. IMC, I use to dupe documents. Tab will
hide/show palettes. Use it with Shift key to show/hide toolbox.

Yes, Opt+] or Opt+[

You don't need them. Just hover over an anchor point or a path. Opt will
give you access to the Convert Anchor Point tool.

This one is bit of a mystery. Use Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts to allocate
Cmd+Shift+O to the File Browser under Windows. Accept the change. Instead of
just opening the FB, it will now show/hide it. The shortcut will disappear
from the File menu but will be added to the Window menu. No great loss,
AFAIKS.

This is a features request. You need to go to the Adobe site and make your
request.

IMO, Photoshop needs the Batch command to be thoroughly updated because it
confuses too many people. When you are batching, Photoshop should use hard
coding primarily and let you use actions if you wish. Hard coding would let
you choose items from a menu and then allow you to name and save your
settings.
