Hi Raquel and Penny, I'm thinking a reinstallation of the firmware will get rid of these problems as it sounds like a possible corruption of the firmware. If you do decide to install the firmware and the PTR1 still restarts randomly, then you can assume it is probably a hardware issue. When reinstalling the firmware keep in mind that you will lose all settings and all bookmarks as well as all daisy book titles already recognized by the ptr1. Just a thought. You might want to wait for Andrew's reply before doing anything drastic.
