"Thom R. Lacosta" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterence to the qrplist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- One well-meaning member of QRP-L asked me to stop giving Ed Hare a hard time, and quoted the message where I told Ed his sarcasim was misplaced, and quoted a series of messages that were rather clear both Ed and a vice driector had made a mistake about the ARRL porposed bandwidth proposal.

I also indicated that one of the folks quoted in the message had actually thanked me for trying to clear up the confusion...and said that I was one
of the few people on QRP-L who could read.

The well-meaning guy writes back to me and says that he didn't read my explanation, since he doesn;t like to read messages "like that", and was
happy that Ed and I had settled things.

How some of these folks could have passed the FCC multiple guess tests are
beyond me.
