I read. I read a lot. I have carefully studied the history of amateur radio
and have concluded that it would not at all exist today if were not for the
tireless work of the ARRL. I think the folks who work there are paid very
little and that leads me to conclude that they love what they do. I don't
think people who love what they do intentionally try to destroy what they do.
Oh, The League does what it does very well...and that is maintain a membership
organization that protects its own interests...like any membership organization.
