Um, Hey gang; It already started with someone calling John some names. (I have only just now read up through yesterday morning's email...hi..hi . I can well imagine about the rest of what you wrote Thom having also taken place by now.) On a more personal note; When I spoke with Carl, wk3c, last month or so about all of this, I remember telling him that he was up against a very entrenched "old boys club", and he could expect some of the treatment they reserve for outsiders. Carl, if I remember correctly, felt he could handle it. Sadly he is not getting a real chance to handle the Board et al. And I really DO hate being "right" about such things. And I guess it is also time to review my "need" to belong to the ARRL in coming years. (Yes, I do know about being a member to change things etc. But perhaps it is time to vote with my wallet.)
