When I was a cop, the only thing I would worry about is whether you were driving without the required equipment. I.e. if you have a restricted drivers license only allowing you to drive with hand controls, then there better be hand controls in the vehicle. If there is no restrictions, then there is no problems.
That's the view from a former law enforcement officer. Then again, I haven't been doing that for 20 something years.
