I fail to see that. Certainly, if MIDI mapper was present there would be
two options to select the default port at any given time, but how does that
result in a clash?
Of course a cheeky way of getting round the problem is to simply nullify the
defport key; from limited testing here I suspect that the default QWS
default port is actually the System Default port, if you see what I mean.
I'm not sure how you implement that, though - it may mean a QWS restart
which is possible but...
