Mak Ngah dan dunsanak kasodonyo, semoga Allah
memberikan kita ilmu pengetahuan.

"Makdzun" itu berasal dari akar kata
"a-dzi-na"(mengijinkan)atau(membolehkan).

"Istakdzana""meminta idzin"(lihat Quran surah AnNur
adab masuk kerumah orang dan masuk kekamar ortu) 

"Makdzun" adalah nama tempat(isim makan), jadi ngak
ada Muanntasnya(ngak ada makdzunahnya).

Namun dikarenakan kebiasaan saja, terkadang makdzun
ini, sudah menjadi panggilan bagi "Kadi" saja. Pada
hakikatnya makdzun itu adalah tempat untuk pencatatan
Nikah.

Fungsi makdzun ini ada dua.

1). Bisa sebagai Kadi(hakim), bagi perempuan yang tak
ada wali dari kerabat dekatnya.

2). Bisa sebagai tempat pencatatan saja.

Yang biasanya dipakai di mesir Makdzun ini, dipanggil
kerumah mempelai wanita atau lelaki, disana ada ijab
kabul, dari lelaki dan perempuan, kemudian Makdzun
tadi mencatatnya.
