had to let that one stand alone.  That's like asking what is the perfect 
number of fly rods.  From the Texas hill country I can fish tiny overhung 
creeks, big rivers, a big trout tailwater, coast flats, blue water.  There 
really is not a finite answer.  Same with tackle, if you get too many, you 
pare down, though you still probably refine with new choices as your 
interest in your different destinations evolves.
