I was of the same mind as Edwin. When Joe showed up, I thought of buying one
and tranferring the parts from Sam and buying some fatter tires for one
wheelset. I thought Joe might be better on trails but feared I'd miss the road
feel of Sam. I've noticed that 45 Smart Sams fit the Sam but rub on the
kickstand when I pedal hard. I did see that the bb drop on Joe was slightly
lower but I'm sure that would be easily offset by a set of 55 tires.

A Joe for dirt and heavy lifting and Sam for roading in the garage\shop
together is not an option. Too many projects coming up and it's rainy season
(we hope). Besides that combo might be better satisfied by Sam and a Hunq.
