Yes Patrick , this is my idea too, it must really BE quick ,as in disconnect, remove One "Unit"(bar/stem/cable to split point), put on "other Unit", and re-attach. Done. No "Adjusting, other than the stem height which is a no brainer, (for most ... lol).
The DaVinci splitters come in both shifter and brake versions, and a "kit" of both.
